André Olwagen is a South African photographer and architect who has worked across seventeen countries and four continents—from India's high-altitude passes to Egypt's arid valleys, from Nepal's Himalayan sunrise to South Africa's windswept coasts.

That work taught him how atmosphere and light shift across latitudes, how distance feels different depending on where you're standing, and how a room breathes when the right image settles into it.

His photographs are an extension of that spatial practice: minimal, emotive, and designed to bring presence—not decoration—into interiors that value calm, clarity, and connection.
